I won’t eat jimmy deans ever again. I contacted them after finding (and biting into) a pea sized piece of bone/other object in one of their products. I sent them info from the package, picture of the object ect. Later that year I started having issues with it and finally went to the dentist when I had some medical money set aside to do work on it. Turned out it was cracked and I needed a root canal and a crown. Oop was right around $800, as I have pretty decent dental insurance. Contacted jimmy deans and was sent through a few departments and finally the outcome of my claim was that I had the work done 2 DAYS outside of their claim window.

For a company to outright refuse to take ownership of an issue, or at the very least say “well let’s see if we can do half of what you paid out of pocket.” Or even a pittance would’ve been ok with me. But They offered nothing, other then, sorry for your luck.

Yeah, I don’t trust this company to act in a morally responsible manner. Just my two cents 😉

I am leery of all ground processed meat-my husband had to have a crown after biting into a meatball and there was a piece of bone and it cracked his tooth.
