has anyone used these before? Are they good quality? I would love an art kit like this – but it seems like only Crayola makes crayons with any pigment or makers that don’t dry out in one use!

Waxy crayons that don’t have much pigment and break easily. For this you get what you pay for ($1.50?!?). Maybe good for little kids
We’ve had this set before. This is a case of you get what you paid for. I think we paid $5 for it and thought it was worth that fwiw. It’s definitely made for kids though meaning everything is short for stubby fingers 🙂 to grasp. I think the markers did eventually dry out on us, but can’t remember if it was after a single use.
For that’s price any quality will do… Lol I have a 5 yr old that would absolutely love this!
Truthfully, these sets have been awesome! Now, the crayons..Ok they aren’t Crayola…enough said. However, the colored pencils, drawing pad, sharpener, markers etc. all are great. If the markers dry out after several drawings, I definitely think you got your money’s worth. These kits have been great for Santa to pass out at holiday parties, great for boys and girls, wide age range. Also, would be wonderful donation item for a church or local toy drive. Thanks Hip2Save for the heads up on these.

This is good for one day used. If you think of using several times, forget about this.
I just bought this gift and got a few other things as well, for free with my $5 off coupon. I think for 1.50 or 2 it will be just fine.
