I saw those and i am really surprised. I order them on my s&s every month with no issue, knock on wood. I wonder if a certain warehouse had an issue
Nope. It’s the Doubleshots. I love the taste of these drinks and bought them everyday for two years. The first incident, there were two – two – empty cans left in the floor of my vehicle. Yeah, I should have picked them up, but I wasn’t thinking maggots were going to develop from them? I mean, I’ve never had a drink do that in my life.
These were flat, full grown maggots and flies coming from these cans. But they’d been left there for awhile, months, so I chalked it up to a freak thing.
Flash forward to me leaving an empty can in the cupholder a couple of days ago. Those cans already have flies coming from them. I tossed it out, but I about gagged when I saw it. For flies to develop within 2 days (with maggots to follow), there had to have already been bacteria in the can. Your empty drink shouldn’t develop flies 2 days in open air, flat, that’s not something that should be happening.
So I ditched these forever.
You can try it for yourself though. I drink the White Chocolate (never noticed it with the Vanilla). Leave them out for a month and watch what happens.
I can confirm this, and I suspect they’ll have a lawsuit one day. A big one.
A couple of days ago, I left an empty container in my car’s drink holder. I was really surprised to start noticing flies in the vehicle. So if there are flies coming from these drinks within two days of an open can being left out, that’s an extremely alarming thing. Matter is neither created or destroyed. There had to have been bacteria of some kind in the can for this to happen.
Someone from the company said the dairy is pasteurized, well bullshit. There’s no way. I know for a fact that they were coming from the can of Doubleshots.
I quit drinking them. It’s obvious they have bacteria or some kind of larvae already in them.
