Fruit fly traps are super easy to make! Put some apple cider vinegar in a dish and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Poke a few holes with a fork. You’ll catch the fruit flies in just a few hours. You’ll love it!
Thanks for the tip!
Oh wow! Very cool! Thanks for the tip, Tina!
Also you can cut a 0.5 Liter water bottle in half. Pour some cider vinegar in bottom half. Flip other piece upside down (part where cap goes) and sit it inside other half with cider vinegar.
Cool thanks for the tip
Apple cider vinegar in a small dish, with a drop of dishsoap to break the surface tension. Super easy and cheap!
These are so worth the money and time saved on not having to make my own mix.
These things work really well. The design is good so I carefully pop the top off, rinse and re-use mine with the apple cider dishsoap recipe mentioned above. Flies also go crazy for a splash of beer in there too!
I knew you all would have some great tips which is why I clicked on this article. Thanks a million. I am trying to save money to put in a savings account and not live paycheck to paycheck this year. Not spending money on anything that I can make cheaper on my own. Score. Thank you.
The homemade version works better than these. Like others said, apple cider vinegar, saran wrap and poke some holes with a toothpick.
I can’t get the deal to come up on Amazon.
Darn! Looks like the price is up now. Thanks for letting us know!
