Does anyone use one of these? Is it easy to clean? Does it rust?
I don’t have one yet but plan to order. Some of the reviews say it is hard to clean. Some say they rust. I would think if you dry it thoroughly it would not rust. I usually put pans (like cookie sheets and pizza pans) that are prone to rust in a warm oven to dry all the crevices completely.
I have this exact basket and it didn’t rust. I’ve been using it for over a month in my IP. I don’t use it daily so maybe it will rust in the future. It seems as very good quality, sturdy basket. As for the cleaning, IMHO it’s as hard to clean as any other basket this type. Holes are tiny, I use silicon brush to poke out if there is anything stuck. I also almost always immediately rinse any food residue. I would buy this again. Hope this helps.
Just so you know, I copied and pasted the link for it on Amazon into reviewmeta.com, which analyzes Amazon reviews to get rid of the incentivized, fake, non-verified purchase reviews, and it failed. Note on the reviews, this brand often has offer for free basket in exchange for honest review. I’ve personally seen it. It was even advertised in one of the IP Facebook groups I am following for the recipes.

I bought a different brand, 8qt for $8.50 on a lightning deal. This is not a good price. However I like the basket. The other day I also used it to cook ribs. It’s much easier that using the trivet.
