I’m thinking of ordering online, un-stuffed, so we can go into the store some other day this winter for a nice afternoon activity. Seeing last year’s Build A Bear event pictures was enough to scare me away from ever attempting to go in person for one of their sales! lol
The price is just for the bear does it include washing, changing clothes etc? How much total if I were to take my kid into the store?

Can you order online and go back a different day to stuff?
Great question! I just spoke with customer service and they said that these would ship already stuffed. They will be $10 when purchasing them online. Hope that helps!

Can I buy it unstuffed and gift it so that the recipient can go for the experience at a different time? If so, will it cost money to stuff it?

I think it’s wrong to have to pay almost double (not including shipping) for the exact same bears if ordering online. I personally think that if there isn’t a BAB within 75 miles of you then the promotional cost should be the same online as in the store. The nearest BAB to me is over 90 minutes away.
I know you can buy unstuffed online, but can you buy unstuffed in store? I’d like to buy unstuffed in store myself then bring my kids another more convenient day to get them stuffed. We tried the whole pay your age day. Waited for an hour in the heat outside the mall, was miserable so we went out for ice cream instead.

Yes I did this for the last sale. Have to keep your rcpt. I had them initial that it was unstuffed.
You can also take them in on the month of their birthday and pay their age for the birthday bear.
