Here’s what Hip2Save readers have to say about Home Chef

We have tried several home delivery services and Home Chef is by far the best. Quality ingredients, easy to make recipes and they give you 15 meals to choose from each week. I have never had a problem with delivery or an item missing or being bad. Highly recommend!

I love Home Chef. I get three meals a week, and since I’m a single mom I can make the 2-person meals into four meals (2 lunches, 2 dinners) and it’s perfect! It’s also very, very easy to skip a week – just flip the switch. I’ve used them almost a year after finding them through Hip2Save!

Our family loves Home Chef! We tried Plated, Blue Apron, and Hello Fresh, too, but this one is our fave. We find the meals to be pretty kid-friendly, quick, and easy for weeknight cooking!

Home Chef is great. We’ve liked everything, and they have great options every week. I think the menus are better than Hello Fresh.

I very much enjoy Home Chef, Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, etc. I just want to warn readers that having a box of meals delivered from these companies when temperatures are at/below freezing is not a great idea. I live in Maine and had a box from Hello Fresh delivered last week and didn’t think much about the temps but when my box arrived the entire contents were frozen. Most of the produce was not usable once thawed (ie tomatoes, kiwi, asparagus were all mushy). While the company was great and provided a credit for another box, it was still a terrible waste and inconvenience.

Ugh they advertise as being keto friendly, but their carbs are all way too high.

I love how they package their meals together. I never liked wondering “Is this cheese for this meal, or that one?”. Makes it so convenient! When we were in the Polar Vortex, my shipment was delayed and they sent me an email notifying me that my order wouldn’t be guaranteed to be kept up to their standards, so they credited me back and told me to keep what I thought I could. I thought that was nice!!
