Just wanted to let you all know to check your prices before your shipment! They are increasing the prices and not letting you know. So if you want something for that sale price you need to buy it now for a little more. At least you will get the sale!!! I have no idea how much I have wasted on this stuff. What a ripoff! I talked to customer service they confirmed what others have been saying. Wow!
I just chatted with customer service and was told the first month of your subscription, the price does not fluctuate and I have never had anything increase that I ordered (I always cancel the subscription after it ships). It price can fluctuate after the first shipment.
This is what I was told regarding subscribe and save prices: “The total cost charged to your payment method for each Subscribe & Save order will be the cost of the item on the day that order is processed less the Subscribe & Save discount, plus any applicable sales tax.
So if you subscribe today, the order will be processed 10 days before the actual delivery date.
So the price is calculated on the day at which the order is processed.” So the price can go up or down which really sucks!!
There’s also the 56 oz container you can get for $7.22 after 15% off subscription.
Does anyone know when they expire? Nothing worse than old nuts!

Sometimes it takes a bit for them to update. Did you try checking back a little later, or maybe even give it a day?

I don’t think that info is correct. I often find that amazon customer service doesn’t understand how subscribe & save works, so it wouldn’t surprise me that you may have received an incorrect explanation.
The order should be processed on the day you place it. To confirm any subscribe & save orders you may have placed, click on “your orders”, where you’ll have the option to click on “order details” or “invoice” for an individual order. Both will give you details about the price you will be charged.
If you happen to look at “Your Subscribe & Save Items” you will see all the subscriptions you have scheduled for the upcoming months. The current price will be displayed below them, but the details of your order will remain the same as the day you ordered them.
I watch my S&S orders pretty closely and haven’t had issues with being overcharged when they ship. My experience has always been that the price I see on the day I place the order (also always confirmed in an emails on that day) is the same price I pay when my shipment goes out. I also almost always cancel my S&S orders after receiving a monthly shipment, in order to avoid surprises in following months.
Hope that helps. Also note that you can cancel any subscription around that 10-day mark before it ships. I always check around the 1st of the month, before my orders are shipped (near the 11th). So as long as you have a routine or a reminder on your calendar to help you remember, you can snag subscriptions while they’re offered throughout the month, and edit your list as shipping time nears.
I have been a S&S member for years and have NEVER had issue with prices changing from the day I place 1st order. They even tell me when the price has gone up from previous months, if it does, in the next subscription order on my reminder email… ??? Not sure why anyone would have problems. I think it’s the best thing going!!😁
