We do the year long subscription and get a phenomenal deal considering you get 3 toys (priced anywhere from $8-$12 at Target), two bags of treats, and a chew! I tried BarkBox over Christmas and was going to cancel… nope! I’m in love with these boxes!! Err… I mean my dog is. LOL. They do such a great job and the toys and treats are really great quality. My daughter had a great time cutting out the Viking hat and filling in the little poem they had. These boxes are really at hit in our house! I highly recommend it!
BarkBox is great and has the best customer service! We are getting a puppy and chatted with them and they said you can ask them after you’ve signed up to make the treats “soft” ones for a while for his little puppy mouth. They are the best! Fast shipping, good quality, fun, etc.

Although you can cancel auto RENEW, you CANNOT cancel your SUBSCRIPTION before the 6 month term. It took me a month of emailing them back and forth to finally get me out of it because I finacially could not do the $30 a month. Beware! They do not make it easy and they will not let you out just because you only wanted the one box for $5

Our experience…. I did this and just got the $5 bark box 2 days ago… They already shipped my next one so now I have to pay for that one… Which is fine I guess because I did do the six-month thing…The toys were pretty cool and a couple of the treats… But they sent these salmon sticks that disintegrated when you touched them and because they stunk so so so bad my dog rolled in them… (dead fish omg) So you can’t even imagine how much she stunk and how hard it was to get that smell out of her… I’m hoping the next box will be better because she had a really good time pulling out the toys and the other natural treats she loved…
I had a problem with the treats and I did a live chat that is on the web site. They have great customer service and they send out new treats free of charge.

We are so sorry for the confusion surrounding our cancellation process. When you sign up for a discounted multi-month commitment, we dedicate 6 or 12 awesome boxes for your pup! For this reason, when you cancel, it does just stop the auto-renewal. However, you continue to receive the remaining boxes within that commitment period.
That awesome $5 promotion is only applicable for a multi-month commitment. We do have a 1-month option that allows you to try out that 1 box to see if your pup is a fan!

I absolutely love BarkBox and so does my boxer. He usually rips toys apart to get to the squeaker. He hasn’t done that with any of the BarkBox toys. They are really well made. I was actually shocked. If you are hesitant because your pup is a toy chewer, don’t be. My pup has liked all the toys but they say if yours doesn’t they will make it right for you. I just got my first $5 box and was very pleased with what they sent. If your not pleased with anything they will take it back and send you something else. I made sure to tell them no grains in my snacks.
Just an FYI, out vet yesterday wanted to triple check we are not feeding our new puppy a grain free diet. New evidence links it to deadly heart disease in dogs. The FDA is currently investigating

Their products are pretty good quality. But the customer service has left me with a poor impression of them, having to beg for almost 3 weeks to be released so I could afford to pay for some new, more expensive food for my dogs newmy discovered allergies. I don’t know if I’ll buy any more of their products.

I got the box and all 3 toys are made in China. Got 2 bags of treats – both thick jerky and then a 2pk of chew sticks. No soft chews. They should ask more questions about your dog, how old,types of treats that they like. My dog prefers soft treats. I put in a request to cancel, hopefully they will honor my request.

I am a veterinarian so I am VERY picky about my dogs toys and treats. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so we tried it and received out 1st box a few weeks ago. I was more than a bit concerned that many of the toys are meant to be torn apart. They even make a stuffing filled toy with another “hidden” toy inside. To me this just screams GI obstruction. When I expressed my concern and my puppers disappointment in having her new favorite toy taken away (stuffing explosion within 24 hours) customer service was great. They upgraded me to a customized box with tougher seams next month. They also make a tough chewer box without plush toys although it costs a bit more. These boxes are adorable and fun but please please be cautious and upgrade if you have a chewer. Your $5 box could result in a $2000 emergency surgery😕
