Even better than target 5%?
We are going this week to purchase our gift cards at our local grocery store as they have a gas program that gives you $.10/gallon of gas up to 20 gallons and this week all gift cards are 4x the fuel savings. I calculated how much we will save and it’s just under 9% savings, way better than target. Not sure if you have anything like this around you.

What store does this?
We did this at Kroger last month for I trip a week ago. We had to buy so many bc we also had to pay our annual dues bc of being DVC members that we could never use all the points before the next month. I think I had some where around 13000
I think I will use target next time bc you can only buy so much gas before they expire and then we thought we can use while driving to Florida but try finding a Kroger right off the highway is hard to do.
I’m confused about which points you are talking about. Do you mean you had to go on vacation because you couldn’t use your DVC points or you had too many fuel points? If it is DVC points then you are letting money go down the drain. You can rent those out through an intermediary and get around $14 per point. That’s what we do and it pays for our dues each year and lets us vacation free every other year.
How many gift cards do you usually purchase during a special like this? Is there a limit? Our grocery store is similar, but not even sure how to calculate a cost savings on something like this….
