    Is this Keto friendly?

It has agave syrup which is sugar, so if you’re strict no-sugar 𝐊𝐞𝐭𝐨 this wouldn’t be a good choice.

Probably not because it has peanuts.

Hmm, so as far as Keto goes, it has the same total carbs as my 100% peanuts Crazy Richard’s peanut butter (with 3g fiber and 2g sugar naturally occurring in the peanuts). So 4g net carbs per 2 Tblsp.

This has same net carbs of 7g, but with 2g fiber and 2g sugar. So 5g net carbs per 2 Tblsp. So if it fits your macros, I guess go for it.

I find it weird that the Agave syrup does not add any sugar content… Price is very tempting, I’m gonna think about it some more.

Keto is ingredients first. The label with the breakdown of carbs is always secondary. For some, peanuts are inflammatory because they are a legume. If the ingredients in the peanut spread were peanuts and salt…it would be keto.

I agree. This is not Strict Keto. If you are doing Keto for weight loss then maybe it would be ok but not for health reasons.

Collin, would you consider a clean and/or organic blog? I haven’t found a clean site that is as comprehensive as hip2save.

    • Katrina

Doesn’t she have a keto site? 🤔 I thought I saw this mentioned.

      • Lynn

Yes she does. At the top of this site page you will see her Hip2Keto mention and I’m sure a click will take you there. Lots of great tips, suggestions, recipes, etc.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Feel free to check out our sister site, Hip2Keto.com 🙌

  5. Jennie Martinez

Sounds good, if you can taste the coconut. Can you?
