I’m trying to do this, but when I choose PayPal as my form of payment, it logs me in to PayPal to confirm then when I get back to the Spotify page, it says it’s only 30 day free trial? This happening to anyone else?
Melanie – I was able to use PayPal and it gave me the 60-day. It should say it on the Paypal payment info page. I need to cancel before April 13.
Hi Melanie! I just tested this using my PayPal account as you mentioned and it worked for me. Make sure you are signing up for the free 60 day trial using an email that has not previously signed up for Spotify Premium. Hope that helps!

Make sure you have confirmed your Spotify account once you set it up, once I did that it worked fine.

It looks as if it has to be your Starbucks account email. 🤷🏾♀️ Guess we will all find out for sure in 3 days. The details are very sketchy.

Got my star code this evening. I didn’t use the same email as my Starbucks account and still received the code. Once I added the code on the Starbucks app it did take about an hour for it to show up.
What email address did it come from? I haven’t received mine

I never received the email from Spotify, so I got in touch with them. I got the run-around from Starbucks and Spotify where they indicated that this offer was only eligible to individuals with Gold status on their Starbucks accounts. This isn’t mentioned anywhere above. Very disappointing that this was not made clear.
it only gave me 30 not 60 day trial

Hi there on the original Hip2Save post it said the Starbucks stars would only be for the first 74,000 plus people who signed up so if more than that signed up before you you will not be getting the Starbucks stars. Sorry.
I did it pretty quickly. I know there were many people who commented about just signing up (well after I did) and getting their stars. Not sure why. Oh well…. I found that I’ve only used Spotify twice since then so I don’t plan on keeping it anyway. Thanks.
