These containers are made from Melamine. I’m concerned about the formaldehyde!!!!!! Does anyone know about this material? Google says: Melamine resin or melamine formaldehyde (also shortened to melamine) is a hard, thermosetting plastic material made from melamine and formaldehyde by polymerization. In its butylated form, it is dissolved in n-butanol and xylene.
I also noticed they are made from Melamine. I have a few dishes that a melamine and cannot be put in the microwave. In the description, it says, “keeps reheated items hot”. How?
Unfortunately these are plastics and I wont be buying them. They are cute. … wish they were glass.
