My 4 teens HATE the circle, so you know it works great!! In all seriousness, this gives the kids limits, bedtimes and filters. I’ve had it for years and LOVE it! I can’t recommend it highly enough. I like that the kids aren’t up all hours of the night on their phones or computers and it teaches them to use their time online wisely. Another cool feature is that you can get a notification on your phone when a new device joins your network. If I’m at work and someone has a boyfriend over, I know it.
I’ve tried quite a few parental controls over the years and the Circle is by far the best one!
I have 2 young teens and they hate the Circle! In other words – it works awesome!
This is one of the best things my husband & I have purchased for our family! I bought it before my kids really explored the internet/apps or had personal devices…so when given those devices, they only know internet through Circle. I also add a guest user for friends who visit…if they use our WiFi (which they typically do) they get the same filters as my kids! We restrict time and what they access with Circle. You can also look at the history of sites visited and restrict certain sites. They still charge devices in our room every night. This little device is awesome!!
I was disappointing that this doesn’t work with spectrum modems.

I love the circle!! I can limit what my kids can access and how long. I can also shut the internet off with the touch of a button.
Just FYI though it will not work with Xfinity routers, they have to strong of a firewall.

I have Orbi (Netgear) that comes with Circle, but there is a monthly cost to have it. Is that the same with this device? If it doesn’t then I might just need to buy this instead.
I have an orbi too but we disabled circle from it and bought and used this instead since the features were way better and free – unless you buy circle go – that does cost but we got rid of that since my son kept removing it from his phone. Love circle though and we were mad buying orbi thinking it had this but it did not have the full version. Highly recommend buying this.

Can you limit internet from the phone service or only WiFi? Our phones switch to data from AT&T when we are not connected to WiFi.
Only wifi and not phone service unless you buy circle go app which is $10 per month but works on multiple devices
