I have the original ones and those look leather. Bought them during Nordstrom’s sale for $68. I did try these from target and didn’t compare. Get what you pay for.

I agree. You totally get what you pay for. I bought Spanx leggings on Zulily a few months ago (not the faux leather)and they’re horrible. I wore them once and washed exactly as instructed and they pilled so bad I have no desire to wear them again. They’re worse than my cheap Costco leggings. Never again.
I wondered the same thing. I think the reg price of these on target is $34. The reviews were mixed. A lot of people said they dont actually look like leather.
