   Y’all I bought that shampoo and conditioner and it smelled SO BAD. I gave it two days, but I had to return it because it was stinky!!!

  I LOVE the lavender shampoo. I thought it smelled great and made my hair soft & shiney. Everyones different though!

  I love it too. I use the body wash they have in that same brand and scent. It’s a heavenly shower!!!

  Yes, that deodorant was the worst thing I’ve ever used. It makes me hesitant to get this box with that brand having 2 things. Appreciate the heads up on the deal though hip2save.

   I buy these frequently and what I don’t use (along with other free samples) I gather up and take to the college where I work. We have about 15 student assistants and everything is gone within a day.

  I just started the curly girl method about a month ago… so thank you for the recommendation! The method is definitely hair/life changing! It is pretty hard to find frugal products good for your hair since most everything has silicone or sulfates. Luckily garnier curl nourish shampoo and tresemme botanique conditioner follow the requirements. This would be a GREAT idea for a post H2S 😉

  I agree. I am following curly girl for the second time in my life (went 2 years without shampooing in highschool, and fell off the wagon in college), and both times my hair has never been better. It’s a hard pill to swallow when I buy my deva curl cleanser ($44 – ouch)! Would love to see a frugal CG method post!

  Also, just bought this beauty box because of the ingredients in the hair products. I am no-poo, so I’ll have to give away the shampoo, but the other things I am excited about!

  I use suave essentials conditioner, herbal essences totally twisted gel, kinky curly knot today leave in on my young girls. Occasionally cantu curl creme or npf addition to the conditioner.

  It’s all very cheap. The kinky isn’t at $11 but it lasts a long time- and I stock up with sales. Same with cantu.

    Thanks! I loved the lavender deoterant. The silicone hair product looks to be full size which is $9 at Target making the box a great deal for me!
