This thing is AMAZING!!!! Like 10 stars!!! I ordered one on Black Friday after reading reviews and just knew it was not gonna be what I needed- I have super thick and curly/mostly wavy now hair- my hair takes FOREVER to dry- no matter if I let it air dry for hours then blow dry or straight blow dry (this takes even longer) BUT this AMAZING thing right here- takes me 10- YES 10 minutes to dry my hair AND it’s already straight and pretty smooth- I use a straightener sometimes to still curl my ends but sometimes nothing at all- you will NOT be disappointed!!

I have one of these and it’s AMAZING! I’ve tried other dryer brushes in the past and have always been disappointed. But this one is really fantastic.

I was SO skeptical of this! Figured it was another dumb gadget that would get shoved in the closet but boy was I wrong!! Works great! My hair is super thin, unfortunately, but this thing dries it in less than 5 mins. I do a quick touch up with the flat iron and I’m done. So glad I got mine!

have fine, straight, thin hair, and it works well for me. My hair dries straight no matter how I dry it, so for me the main benefit of using this is smoother hair than using a regular hair dryer since I can’t handle both a brush and dryer at the same time.

These are really great. I currently own one and it is the only thing I have ever used that can dry my hair without making it frizzy.

It’s actually amazing. I bought one last month because of so many recommendations. I love it, but so did my daughter. So now I have to buy another….

That Revlon hair dryer is THE BEST!!! I paid double that for it and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

This is my favorite. I was lucky to get one Black Friday for $29!!! But I would pay $50 for it.

    • Wren

I really want to try this but am not desperate so may see if I can get it cheaper later this year. Thanks Jeanne!

Got mine on Black Friday and love it. It actually does last week and ultra replaced it!

      • Melissa

That was supposed to say “died last week”

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Such a great score, Jeanne! SO glad you have been loving yours! Thanks a ton for the feedback!

  2. Ginger

I just got mine last week and paid full price for it. I have very thick, very long (middle of my back) hair that takes a minimum of 40 minutes with a T3 hairdryer and even then it’s still a bit damp. I also have a crazy wave pattern ONLY in the back of my head, so it doesn’t match the sides which are pin straight. Anyway, I LOVE THIS DRYER! It’s a lot louder than I expected and heavier, too, but it works fast and well. My hair takes about 10-12 minutes now. The only thing I can think to be improved is the on/off switch. I wish it were an actual flick type switch instead of one that requires both hands.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Ginger! Great that this has cut down drying time and worked so well on your hair!

I’d like to hear more reviews here before I shell out the $50. I’d like to buy it but I’m frugal and still not convinced it’ll work for me even after reading Amazon reviews. I trust the Hip2save people so keep the reviews coming in people 🙂

It’s worth every penny! My sisters and mom have one and I finally got one ordered for myself. It gives me salon hair. I also am way overdue for a haircut but it’s given my style life again. I don’t even use a blow dryer anymore. I just go straight to using this.

    • Meredith

I got mine about three months ago and I’m obsessed. I love love blowout styles (would get one every day from my hairdresser if I were rich) and this gives you just that. I almost always get asked if I got my hair done when I use this thing. It’s so insanely easy too because it’s just like brushing your hair yet it dries it too, two in one. I’m a young on the go woman and this thing is like my little sidekick. I paid $48 and it was worth every penny.

I got a heated styling brush at the 99cent store and I love it! I only paid $5.99 for it. It doesn’t dry my hair obviously but when I need my dry hair to look like a blow out I just flip my head over and brush from the roots and then use it to curl around my face. If you don’t mind not having the blow dry feature just get a heated curling brush for next to nothing for blowout results.

Love love love this. My go to everyday iron. Great curls and dries hair fast. I tried the Chi one that was recently posted here on Hip and think this one is by far better

    • Anna

Was it the chi curling one that didn’t work for you? I’m debating on this but can wait for a better price like posted above

      • dbld-amber

        Spin and curl

        • Anna

Thank you! Hmm I just ordered the spin and curl a few days ago and waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully it works on my fine thin hair, but I’m definitely interested in this one if I can get it for a bit less and next month since I used my budgeted clothes/ extras already 😉

  5. Jessica

I bought one the last time this was posted for around $55. I have long, thick wavy hair. It works ok. It probably takes me 18-20 minutes. I don’t have to straighten it, but it’s not perfect.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the honest review, Jessica! Good to know how it has been working for you!

    • Jeanette

This is the review I needed to see! I have thick, a little below my shoulders, hair that has gotten crazy wavy / curly since having kids. Like it used to be completely arrow straight and now it’s sooooo curly. When I want to dry it, it takes forever and I look like I stuck my finger in a light socket because it’s so frizzy. My sister just sent me a text on this same item a few days ago and said I have to buy it. So, now that it’s on sale, I guess I will give it a go. Usually my hair is either just left to dry on it’s own in its own curly way or it’s up in a ponytail, but this will be a nice change for date nights or pictures with the family.

  6. Alex

I LOVE it!! I did get on Black Friday for $30, and I am a VERY “bargain” shopper BUT after using this I would pay even the full $60 in a heartbeat. My hair is naturally curly (mostly wavy now) and thick- takes forever to dry my hair whether it air dries or air then blow dryer and don’t even think about blow drying immediately out of the shower…. but this thing dries it in between 10-13 min either way!!! I wish I would’ve had this thing for the past 20 years! I also let my BF try it and her hair is similar- she loves it too- and even better my hair is already smooth and curled at the bottom I don’t even have to use a straightener

    • Scruffybean718

My hair is pretty much the same (wavy/curly and thick). I apprehensively bought this but really, really love it. It sometimes is hard to get a lot of volume very close to my roots because of how thick my hair is, but I flip my head over and do it that way and it’s perfect!

  7. Tara's

Fine thin hair here & this thing is a game changer!!! I have wasted so much $ on tools that don’t work. Glad I took another chance. Daughter has super thick hair & it works just as good for her. Very quick & easy to use!!

  8. fabiola

I bought this last week!! Best purchase ever

  9. Tracy

I have thick, coarse, and wavy hair in a bob hair cut. This didn’t work for my hair. It took 25 minutes to get it dried and still had to use a flat iron because it was still wavy and not straight. Am I the only one that has this issue?

    • Meredith

Try using a blow dryer and drying it 50-75% of the way and then finishing with this. Not ideal but I’ve heard that’s an alternative that can work for people.

  10. Carolyn White

I am SOOOO terrible trying to blow out my hair! My hair is so thick it usually takes forever to dry- this made it so easy and I was surprised how quick it was! I may never use dry shampoo again! THANK YOU!!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! That’s SO great to hear! Awesome it has been working so well on your hair! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to comment! We sure appreciate the feedback!
