Here’s what Hip2Save Readers say about Batiste Dry Shampoo…

I’ve used at least 6 brands of dry shampoo (and tried making my own). Batiste works the best for me. Love it! It’s the only brand I’ll buy now.

Thanks! I was running low (and by low I mean I only had 2 left! haha). I always keep a supply of these in my house. The tropical is my favorite scent!

They definitely have a scent, even the original. However, it dissipates almost immediately after you spray. So it’s not one of those things that linger around your bathroom for 10 minutes. Also, this is the BEST dry shampoo. I’m a stylist and have tried probably a dozen different professional brands and Batiste wins hands down.

(Thanks, Cheryl!)

These are $4.22 each on Walmart.com if you want to try just one.

Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up!

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the heads up! I added this option to the post!

I swear by the Eva Nyc dry shampoo and conditioner. Batiste is okay but sometimes leaves my hair feeling heavy then extra oily the next day.

  3. Lindsay

I love this dry shampoo!! I like to get it on subscribe and save when I have 5 things so I can get 15% off. I just need a couple more things. Thanks so much!

  4. Kitty

    Thanks! This stuff is awesome

Has anybody noticed if it works in dark-colored hair? Or does it leave a white residue?

    • BrBa

I have jet black hair…this dry shampoo (like most) leaves a very apparent white residue. And the dry shampoos for dark hair stain everything they come into contact w/ brown…no winning lol

      • AZ

OMG same! Fellow raven-haired girl here, and either I have to rub the white residue into my scalp to the point where it’s basically oily again or the dark formula leaves a horrible brown residue on my bathroom wall, bedding, and any clothing that the mist lands on. Frustrating!

      • Cristine

Oh no! So glad I read the comments, I also have black hair and was thinking of trying this. Now I’m sad.

    • Jes

I use the divinely dark for brunettes. It blends very well into my hair and I haven’t had any issues with staining.

      • Ckb05

I’ll give that one a try then. Thanks! 🙂

      • Ckb05

What brand is that one? And where do you buy it? Thanks!
