How many pepper plants can we plant on this?
I would say 2 max. We did green peppers in one last yr and we planted them in opposite corners and they grew pretty big.
I’m guessing I am the only one who bought them last year and failed miserably with them. (I got one small tomato). I don’t know if they weren’t deep enough for me or what the deal was. The plants were green but lanky and produces leaves but not much veggies. Will try again this year bc I have two of them but any suggestions to help mine thrive?
Maybe your plants weren’t meant for containers? It was my first time last year, and I asked for help at the garden center with what tomatoes would be best grown in containers. I can’t remember the word for it, but one means they grown in clusters (good for containers) and one means they grow all over the place.
Determinant tomatoes would do best they grow to certain size and need less trellis. Don’t forget to feed your plants. Seaweed kelp liquid plant feed is excellent for container gardening.
Did you follow the instructions with regard to the soil mixture? That’s a really important piece.

I got one of these last year. I planted strawberries, blueberries and cucumbers. I didn’t harvest much. The cucumber plants I ripped out cause they were outta control viney. This year I have half the blueberry bush still alive and all my strawberry plants survived and they have buds. I got these to educate my kiddos and it’s been fun. I highly recommend it!

I believe the spacemaster 80 cucumber variety is a container friendly variety (obviously a hybrid) if you choose to give cucumbers another try. They will still need something to help them climb upwards to conserve space.
Strawberry plants will get bigger each year, and shoot out runners and create new plants. And for a bush to produce blueberries, you have to have two different varieties of blueberry plants. (unless a nearby neighbor happens to have one). If they don’t cross pollinate, they won’t produce. Just a friendly tip!

Blueberries like highly acidic soil and NOT lime which is very alkaline! Hope you have not added the lime yet so you can return it for a refund. Contact your county Agricultural Extension Agency for more help. They are really good at this stuff.
We got three of these last year, and they were great! One has strawberry plants in it, so we were able to just roll it into our garage for the winter to protect the plants.

Lettuce, broccoli, cabbage. I believe those are fall/ cool weather crops.
Pretty much anything that doesn’t “fruit” can be grown in the winter. My kale was burried under 2 feet of snow for almost a week and when the snow melted, the plants were as strong and green as ever! Some cool weather crops actually taste better if the snow has hit them.
I bought one last year just for herbs and I love it. Planning to get more this year. We covered the plastic container with bubble wrap over the winter and left it on our patio without any problems. My herbs are growing back already!

Use this for: lettuce, herbs, strawberries, kale, and radishes. There are some great seed sellers on Etsy, I get all my seeds from there. Good luck, yall!
I have 2 of these. They are amazing. Especially great for growing tomatoes since there’s a constant source of water to prevent cracking. We had severe hail damage 2 years ago from a storm and the insurance company took pictures of the planters and wanted to know what they were made of, because they didn’t have 1 scratch. You can also plant early and roll them indoors if frost comes around.
I never use the black cover. It’s not necessary. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
