I bought this last year for my daughter starting pre-school. We love it, I love how she gets a variety of food for lunch I pack mini carrots, cheese sticks, cherry tomatoes etc all in the different compartments, and she loves picking out what she wants and tells me where to put them when I am packing her lunch. The items do not even move around when tossed around the lunch box, easy clean up as well. I use silicone cupcake liners and put them in the compartments of the box and fill them with the food so that way I just pop out the liners and wash them.
My daughter is going into Kindergarten and she has had this box since she was two. She loves the variety! Weight has never been an issue for us nor cleaning. Totally recommend!
We bought these for our preschooler! Love them! I don’t find them to be heavy and they clean well. We put the insert in dishwasher and hand wash the outer box.
I have 2 of these for my kindergartner and we love them. I wish they were dishwasher safe but I understand why not – would mess up the seals. We rotate between these and 2 thermos containers. Looks small but fits enough for our daughter and she’s an eater. We paid about $20/ea used so this is a good price.

We have one for each of our three children. We have had them for a little over two years now and we haven’t had any qualms about them. They are a fantastic way to eat healthier and keep cost down when doing things such as play dates or field trips for a homeschooling family as well.

Bought three of these for $5 a piece at a store called $5 Hunt. Even bought the clear lids, a 3 pack for $5. I bought them for three of my play nieces and LOVE them for lunch and snacks.
With shipping and tax these aren’t cheaper than on Amazon.
