The jacket is so lightweight! I tested it several chilly mornings (teens-twenties) walking the dogs w/ a t-shirt + sweatshirt underneath and it passed! Plus the zip-up collar is very close enough that I could skip the scarf. Went to a bar the other night w/ no place to stow your coat. So I remembered online someone said you can fold this coat up into one of the side pockets. It actually can be done- I was amazed!
The Quasar Hoody breathes well while staying want. It’s correctly sized a little large so that it can fit as a top-most layer in a system, with a micro puffy and fleece underneath. The strong, super light material holds up quite well. Packs small and tight.
I bought this for a backpack trip. The jacket is very packable, light and features great pockets, and hood. It is very warm for the weight.
This jacket is very well made, warm, and chic. I like how it fits, and the strategically placed pockets are a good feature. I look forward to using it when it is below zero outside (haven’t had that opportunity yet).
