I am all over this! Freeze pickle juice in popsicle molds…delicious!

  2. Megan

Drinking pickle juice weirdly does wonders on heartburn too.👍

    • Jennifer

And strangely sometimes helps curb nausea.

      • Cristine

True, it helped with my morning sickness. Idk why but it did.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! Thanks for the helpful tip, Megan! I didn’t know that!

    • ashley

It must be something to do with the vinegar. I drink apple cider vinegar for heartburn, and it helps a lot.

Yes it works by neutralizing stomach acid acidity. Also just plain calcium tablets will also work too if you ever get stuck without Tums. It’s the same principle of the calcium reducing acidity in stomach fluids.

This is gross but really works. I worked at the hospital while pregnant. This kinda crazy lady patient of mine swore that a spoonful of mustard would stop it. I was desperate so I tried it and my heartburn was immediately gone. I have been using keeping mustard packets in my purse ever since instead of Tums. Just give it a try, you’ll see.

The ingredients are pretty gross. It’s all fake colors and preservatives on top of the basic water, vinegar, and salt.

Best Maid is very distinct, not at all like other pickles and hard and expensive to get outside of Texas. Some people are crazy about it and go to great lengths to get Best Maid and others say a little goes a long way.

Interesting and I learned something new today. I would’ve never known what to do with pickle juice and what it’s good for ☺

  5. Rasha

This is good if you get the keto flu!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing, Rasha!

  6. Joanna

Awesome for athletes! We bring it to all of our track meets… it’s a southern secret for hydration.. that go-go juice before a race! Minus the sugar…

    • Michelle

We do the same for softball tournaments in this southern heat! Freeze them and toss in baggies and put in ice chests plus put some in empty powerade bottles….along with the Florida water soaked towels LOL!!!

  7. Bonnie

After I’m finished with a jar of pickles I put hard boiled eggs in the juice & refrigerate to make picked eggs. Yummy.

    • Bonnie

      *pickled

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How neat! Thanks so much for taking a moment to comment! I have never thought of that!

    • Cristine

      I’m gonna do this now!!

  8. Laurei

I go to Sams club and buy big jars of Vlasic pickles. Bring them home and put them through my Ninja and have pickle pops everyday. I go through 1 jug every 2 weeks. Much cheaper and tastier with no artificial junk.

Pickle juice is an excellent chaser after whiskey shots. Learned this from my Irish-American friends and now I can’t do whiskey shots any other way!

    • Cristine

Good in a bloody Mary’s too.

  10. Sallys

I thought this was a joke ad – maybe getting a jump on the April fools day thing… I learned a lot from the comments. Interesting.

    • gege1804

I was thinkimg the same thing. Is this a joke? Then i read the comments and still thought, are they in on the joke. Lol learned a lot too.

  11. Gina Seaton

You guys are all weirdos! JK! LOL! You learn something new every day!

  12. C.D.

Same here…thought this was a joke. Who would spend so much money and NOT get pickles? So odd.
