Through March 30th, Target is offering REDcard holders an extra 5% off your in-store purchases!
This special 5% off coupon is available in the Target app once you add your REDcard to your Wallet in the app. Your 5% off coupon barcode will then be available in your wallet under coupons and thank you offers.
Even sweeter, the standard 5% off REDcard discount will be applied after the extra 5% off discount.

Nope. I have never heard that and I go to target at least twice a week. They only offer that if they have a special coupon like the one they are talking about here.
They have for me! Just last week I bought clearance items and got the regular 5% and clearance 5%. No special coupon added.
Anyone have luck with this working with Disney gift cards? Are they considered “prepaid” or entertainment cards?

Inquired today in store. Disney, ITunes, etc are categorized as entertainment cards and with this promotion they did have experience with it working with the ITunes cards but not Disney. I’m not sure what the difference would be 😒
I’m loving the free shipping with RC for beauty items — Target.com has a really nice selection of boutique/higher end indie brands.
Another Target App wallet perk: load your electronic Target gift cards into the wallet app, and you’ll never lose them or forget about them. They come off automatically when you scan the wallet QR (e.g., for cartwheel). This is fabulous for the emailed $5 GCs that come from online purchases, which are very easy to lose track of.

I originally had my redcard synced with my wallet but when I went to redeem a giftcard the redcard was bumped out of my wallet! I hope that you have better luck with it than me. I am happier using my card!
A Target employee helped me with this recently. Apparently you have to select your default, which is to use gift cards first OR your RedCard. You can switch back and forth anytime.
Can anyone explain how I add it to my wallet in the Target app?? I am clueless thank you

My RC is added to the wallet but i only received the 5% not the additional 5% off.
it isn’t automatic. you have to scan the coupon in your wallet
Mine was in there too but when I tapped on it, it asked for my pin number and when I entered my pin it added the additional 5% coupon to my wallet, along with 20% off dresses and a b1g140% nutrition coupon. Maybe try this route and it will show up for you.
OMG…this is going to make it even easier for me to shop at Target! There are times when I don’t bring my wallet with me while dropping the kids in the morning. I pass by Target each day on the route to school & want to stop by—only to realize I have no wallet, only DL, but I NEVER forget my phone. Oh dear… once my card gets added to the app… 😬😬🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣

I just double checked with customer service and they stated that it should apply on each transaction, however some readers have reported that the offer disappears after one use. You could always head to customer service before shopping to be certain. Hope that helps!

I used my coupon yesterday and now it has disappeared! (The other 2 Redcard ones are still there) I’m not sure how they say you can use it more than once if it isn’t there to use anymore? 🙁
