   Your end price is incorrect. The first 3 boxes will be $3, but the 4th will be $1.39. So $4.39 – $2 in q’s = $2.39 or $0.60ish per box.

  Nope, not at CVS. Look at the tags. The only way you’ll get them $1 each is if you buy the quantities stated, in 3’s. Otherwise items 4 & 5 will ring up the “OR” price. It’s annoying how CVS rings their quantity sales up.

  Hi Mel! In our stores anything after the required purchase amount to get the lower price (in this example you have to purchase 3), we always have the rest ring up at the lower discounted price. I hope this helps.

  The policy may vary by region/store. Anything that states a quantity or price is rung up here in Michigan as the sign states. In this case 3 for $3 and then the fourth and fifth would be $1.39 🙁

  Odd! That’s not how they ring up in my area, and haven’t for quite some time. The only time I’ve ever gotten them all the same price after the required purchase amt, is when the ad says $5 for 5 and there’s no “or” price. You can buy 1, 4, 8 and they’ll each ring $1.
  It’s just like the shampoo I bought this wk, the Whole Blends/Fructis are 2/$7 OR $3.99. Spend $10, get $3. The first 2 rang up the sale price, but the 3rd item rang up $3.99, not $3.50.

  I guess it is regional. In NY, I would have to purchase in increments of 3 as well. My 4th would ring up as $1.39. Still not a bad deal though.

   I went to walmart where they had the skittle, lifesaver gummies and starburst for a dollar. more varieties 😁
