I’ve been wondering about Ulta. While it seems like a really nice store, the products seem so expensive. Are there deals to be had? Any tips would be appreciated!
Ulta sells both drugstore and prestige (high-end) brands of makeup. You should sign up for their Rewards program, which is free to join and lets you earn points that you can then redeem on future beauty product purchases, so that you can save $ by shopping. For deals on the prestige items, either wait for a 20% off coupon (they send these out several times a year) or for their annual sales (like the current 21 Days of Beauty going on right now, as well as other sales they have periodically). On their website they have a $3.50 coupon that can be used any time on drugstore items. HTH!
What do people think about the Tula cream? I’m starting Accutane soon and am wondering if this will help with the inevitable dry skin.
I would recommend the it cosmetics confidence in a cream. It is an amazing thick moisturizer that I think is also paraben free and free of many irritants. Anyway, I love it and it should be on sale 1/2 price at Ulta later this week for the 21 days of beauty.
While I can’t comment on the Tula cream, I am on my last month of Accutane and can say that CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Skin Renewing Night Cream have been a life-saver. Oh, and Aquaphor for the lips and nose!
I am from Bulgaria and this is where the best damascena rose come from. We have always had rose toner. And let me tell you – it does wonders. It is suitable for all type of skins. If you want to know more about its properties you can find a lot of information on the internet. I would suggest a different product that Costco sells. It is organic and it is produced in Bulgaria. Also it has only one ingredient: 100% pure steam-distilled Organic Bulgarian Rose Water (Rosa Damascena). The brand is Alteya. It is $30 for 2 8oz bottles but it often goes on sale.
Also there is a Bulgarian store in the US that sells Bulgarian rose products including online. They have only one store in few big cities and if you are lucky to live near one, please check the cosmetics section out. All the cosmetics, mostly everything actually has been made/produced in Europe and imported here. Specifically, the Bulgarian Rose products are made for the Bulgarian market, so you know that they should be good. And the prices are really reasonable unlike amazon. Please try the perfume also. I believe it’s a little over a $1 while on amazon it’s been selling for over $50! The store’s name is Malincho.
I hope this post is acceptable. I am not associated with this store in any matter. I am just trying to share a long kept secret. 🙂
Sorry for the typos. I was trying to type it quickly.
