I have practiced on this mat daily for about a week. I practice a heated vinyasa flow and am generally dripping sweat within the first 10 mins. I have used Yogitoes towels for the past 10 years but always found the grip to slip. I am happy to report that the Liforme mat has so far withstood the sweatiest of classes and I haven’t found myself slipping one bit. I love the alignment markers, it makes form corrections effortless. I am hopeful that the mat with withstand daily practice and the grip will maintain itself especially for the hefty price tag…but so far I am very very pleased!
I reviewed different mats for quite a while. Purchasing this mat was the best thing I have done. I am glad I did my homework! The mat is amazing! The grip & the lines make my practice so much easier! I never could have believed the difference without purchasing this mat! To top it off, the case is practical & very easy to handle! This product definitely receives my top review!!!
This is the best mat I have ever used and I have tried many. The design is meticulously thought out. It has great grip during poses and is not stretchy like many of the latex mats. The size and weight are perfect to bring to class. I did not think I would use it much, but the alignment lines make my poses much stronger.
These mats are the best! Perfect for ANY type of yoga. You will NOT slip in hot yoga. No awkward mat towel needed. I have taken this on several trips, permanent addition to the travel bag. It is lightweight, has its own bag. I am six feet and need a longer mat. My husband is six three and he loves his Liforme mat as well! Easy to clean. Non-slip surface, alignment markings are a reminder to maintain good form. Just love this mat! ❤

In all honesty, what would make a yoga mat worth $99? Is this really the price? I will google it but any yogis want to chime it?

A better mat really can make a difference. I have several cheap mats and one expensive yoga mat. For my everyday, slow and simple yoga I do at home and at the community center, I use the gaiam mat I got for $25 bucks at target. I have a Jade brand mat I use when I go to the super trendy spot where the young yogis practice and we do hot yoga. The mat was $119 and it is very thick and heavy, non slip and I can not feel the ground when I do the jumps/snaps into poses.When doing hot yoga, my hands would slip on my cheap mat because I get soaked in sweat. Also, a better mat has better cushion/shock absorbing qualities for springing in and out of poses. The expensive mat makes the hot yoga so much better I can concentrate on my breathing not on slipping or hurting myself. I do not know about this mat but I imagine it is worth it to some people. If you do yoga I hope you love it as much as I do. Namaste.
