Any recommendations on which one is good? Low profile containers vs classic(tall) container. Thanks!

I have this low profile container and it works fine for smoothies made for 2+ people. If making for one person, I would get the tall slender container. I also chose the low profile for storing in my cupboard.

To clarify-the containers are the same capacity; however, the shape and space at the bottom where the blades are creates the issue when you’re using a smaller amount of ingredients. Speaking from experience, you will have to stir a small ingredient amount several times in the shorter, wider container. Hope this helps and makes sense.

I recently got the low profile one and the issue I have is I have to make it for 2 or more servings. I like to try green smoothies while my kids n dh do not. I was thinking if I had the tall container I can make single servings. Looks like their recent models have low profile containers.

I have owned both. They are the same size in ounces but one is taller and thinner and the low profile is squatty and fattier.

I have the full size classic tall … I purchased a refurbished one through Willam Sonoma. I keep the base and cover in the counter. The container is on a shelf in the cabinet. The draw back of the tall is it won’t fit under the cabinet. If you have an open area obviously it’ll work. I’m not sure if there are capacity differences between the tall and short. I use mine for frozen drinks/frozen wine, smoothies, soups, purées and I love my 2 liter capacity. Some of the smaller ones seemed too small for me. So I would check capacity of the container and think how you will use it.

I have the vitamix with the low profile container. I make smoothies for one all the time with no issue. Love it so much!
