So, Walgreens. I did this the last post and went and picked it up. I loved the matte look and how it was centered. However, it was cropped funny and didn’t wrap around on 3 sides, but did on one. I went back in and after an hour waiting and another trip back, they redid it and it looked terrible. It was way zoomed in and not centered. It was wrapped around but was so loose on the canvas I originally didn’t even think it was actually attached. The gal was pleased with it though and said it was the best it was going to look. I didn’t want to offend her so I took it but will be visiting another Walgreens to see if they can fix it. Is this the norm? Colin’s looks so nice and centered and wrapped around.
I think it depends on the staff at the particular Walgreens you go to. I did quite a few of the smaller canvases a few months back and they turned out great! Good prints and they were put together/mounted well. The quality was consistent. I would say try a different location if you are not happy with them done at one location. They are beautiful when done right!
I’m so sad! Walgreen’s raises their price of wood panels, so now when they run the 75% off sale the 8×10 wood panels will run $10 instead of $5. And 7.50 for the 5x7s instead of $4.25. It’s a big deal if you like those sales and tend to by a lot as gifts. SO disappointed!!
