Amy in the ad it is the Pure Gillette in the white can. If you ever have trouble at Walgreens getting the Register Rewards to print out than you want to match the picture in the ad exactly. Went through that this morning with the woman’s variety. That way there’s no argument that you don’t have the right variety.

I forgot to say that you should check the digital coupons to see if you have the offer to get 5,000 points if you spend $15. If so combine this offer with a deal of your choice. Suggestions 3/12 packs of soda for $8.99, the Bull Dog deal
If you have the $5 off couponfor Bull Dog, stock up on Walgreens freezer bags b1g2free, or a couple packs of the Nice toilet paper. The Nice freezer bags and the Nice toilet paper are every bit as good as name brand. This is a killer deal
    If you have the digital.

This deal did not work. $4.19 must be regional or the online price. The 1st store was OOS and shelf tag said $4.99. 2nd store, the shelf tag said $4.79, but rung up $4.99. I had a large transaction so I didn’t notice the price until I got home. The cashier put all the q’s that printed from the machine inside my bag, so 2nd thing was the $5 RR didn’t print. annoying as heck. Just put in a ticket with catalina support. Not sure why it didn’t print, the can is shown in the ad….

Hi Walgreens can be a total pain. I’m in central Illinois and the shelf price said $4.79?but it rang as $4.19 and $2.09 for a pretax total of $6.28. I suggest calling Walgreens corporate and ask for 5,000 points to be added to your balance rewards. I’d also ask them to double check that you were charged the right price for your area. In my experience they will and is what I did at the store this morning when it didn’t print. Actually you will come out ahead because you can take those points and use them again on the same items and still get the printed $5 reward again. There are two reasons they don’t print in my experience: the printer is out of paper so I’ve learned to just tell them up front to check the paper before they ring up and in this case I think because the powers to be didn’t program it into the system. My guess is that the people who do the deal later in the week will have it printed with no problems. Sunday shoppers are the guinea pigs. My sympathies for your troubles.

Oh I know all about Walgreens being a pain. I stopped shopping there a few years ago after several nasty experiences. Slowly started working them back into my weekly rotation this past fall. Don’t shop every wk, but this wk there were some decent grocery & household deals.
Other than the Gillette deal, my trip was smooth for a change.

For this deal, if it does not print, shouldn’t it show on your account and if you were to pay with register rewards could the cashiers check on their end that you have said register rewards?

    • mel

Register rewards don’t track on your card. It’s a totally different system than Balance Rewards. Any RR deal in the ad, if it doesn’t print, you can contact the Catalina co (or some managers will work with you and add points to your account instead.) Unfortunately in my case, I didn’t realize the RR didn’t print until I got home. Contacted Catalina and received an email today that my ticket was processed They will be mailing my reward and I should receive it in 7-10 business days.

Where do you get the information for the Catalina company?
