What can you do with molasses? My girlfriends husband stopped by on his way to his mothers (he spends the night with us and then heads out the next morning) and he brought us back some Kentucky Molasses. I have no idea what to do with it.
Hi there! I most often use molasses in molasses cookies, baked beans, and homemade gingerbread. Hopefully a few others will have suggestions for you too! 🙂
You can also use it for homemade BBQ sauce.
We open up homemade biscuits and pour the syrup on both sides of biscuits and eat it. I. The South where I am from my relatives called this sopping up biscuits and syrup. We use it also in homemade baked beans as well as some cookie recipes.
There are plenty of recipes online to make your own brown sugar… white sugar and molasses is all it takes. It’s So much better than the store made! We like ours w the dark black strap— so good!
