This blanket weighs six pounds and is about the size of a sleeping bag so it makes a good throw but won’t replace a bed blanket. The outside is really soft, almost like velvet and the cover comes off so you can throw it in the wash.
I picked mine up and it’s great. I was surprised how light 6 pounds feels, but it’s what my little man’s weight chart aligns with.
A weighted blanket has been a life saver for my 7 year old nephew who experiences night terrors, nightmares, and anxiety about having nightmares. My sister says he now goes to sleep in 3-5 minutes and has only experienced one night terror in the nearly 2 months of using it.

I’m in Oregon and I see it said “in store only “but I buy it online and when pick it up they honored the cartwheel offer . I paid $29.74
