I’m sad to see economic abuse has become so normalized that they’re developing products for it. If anyone needs help in understanding this type of behavior in a healthy way and taking steps to leave, take a look at thehotline.org

I read about 7 articles regarding economic abuse, they address how 74% off abuse victims stay with partners who have the financial upper hand, they address how if an abusive partner has all your financial information, cell phone information, SSN it can be scary to leave because they can sabotage you. never in any of the articles did it say a spouse hiding an extra package or two from the hubby is abusive, and i certainly don’t feel that my spouse is abusing me if they ask me to not have a dozen amazon boxes come to the house in a weekend. the rug is cute, my husband would laugh, and i would continue to hide recycled boxes under last weeks recycled boxes

Yes, victims of economic abuse have the resources to frivolously buy welcome mats that openly advertise their abuse to everyone, especially to the partner that is oppressing them 🤔

I don’t think you actually believe what you wrote or you’re trying to hard.

There is no humor in making light of serious issues by advertising and buying junk like this.
If making light of this is the message you want to send to your kids and your neighbors’ kids then that says a lot about you.

🤯 HUH ? What in the world ? I had to keep hitting the back button to make sure i was reading the comments on a silly little door mat. I can only imagine your thoughts on an “Im with Stupid ➡️” T-shirt….🙄

          • M

You’re husband should rock that shirt loud and proud!

Melanie, have you thought about buying the “No Drama, LLama” one for yourself? TJ Maxx is selling that one for $9.99 as well. I think it would be perfect for you.
