I have a roomba and love it. I am looking for another robotic vacuum. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Amazon has the roomba 860 on sale today. It’s awesome as a second robot.

        Sorry it’s woot

          Great find! Thanks for sharing!

We’ve had a Deebot for about a yr now and love it! It’s much better than the Roomba IMO. It’s way cheaper, cleans edges better, runs longer per cleaning (so it can clean more), and is more lightweight and quieter than the Roomba. It keeps our our engineered hardwood, bamboo, and stone tile floors immaculate and even runs well on our low pile rug and carpet w/ no issues. Their customer service is excellent too. Highly recommend!

Hey – my husband always does research is on the website called wire cutters. I think that’s what it’s called… Anyhow, we spent $299 and got an Eufy robot. We have a new golden retriever puppy so it was a must! Anyhow I’m really happy we didn’t spend maybe 599 on the I robot or something… We are totally satisfied so far with the job it does. Anyhow, FYI.

Can you please give the website for reviews

      • Stormy

He says that’s it -wirecutter. We buy the “as good as” or something…very rarely the most expensive. It’s never done us wrong. I bet it’ll come up on google – he’s the family researcher 🤣.

This vacuum was my second of three attempts at a robot vacuum. I actually really loved it and wished that it would have worked out for me. I really liked that it had the option to clean in a pattern instead of just randomly roaming around like most vacuums. I think it did a more thorough job in really open spaces for that reason. It did miss complete areas where there was more furniture and obstacles to confuse it. It did occasionally get stuck on things and fail to figure out how to unstick. What did us in was the wifi connectivity. We had a hard time connecting it to our WiFi. Finally got it to work, worked fine for a week or so, then disconnected and we could not get it to reconnect. Ecovacs support eventually exchanged it for another unit. Couldn’t connect the new one. Husband even brought home a different router from work and still no luck. Without WiFi connectivity, you cannot program scheduled cleaning or take advantage of any of the app features. I really liked the app connectivity. It would tell me when it was starting and how long it cleaned or if it was stuck all from my phone even away from home. If the WiFi connection wasn’t a problem, I’d probably still have that vacuum.

So which one do you use now? Would love to know based on your great feedback.

      • Nicole

I currently have a eufy 11s. It’s fairly compact like the Deebot, which is nice. It has limited functionality to program (Can only set one time to run every single day. Deebot allowed you to program multiple schedules for different days) but it rarely gets stuck and picks up tons of hair and dirt every single day on our hard floors. Household of three little kids and two big dogs and it has cut my cleaning time down a lot, so can’t complain too much.

Nicole–thanks so much. We don’t use the wifi at all on our Roomba. If wifi was not an issue, would you choose this?

      • Nicole

Yes, I absolutely would have kept it if wifi wasn’t an issue. Unfortunately, being able to set an automatic schedule for me was a must and the only thing you could do without using the app was start it manually.
