I have this and I love it! My baby is 9 months and still uses it! (I think the weight range goes up to 25 lbs) She was a very fussy baby and wouldn’t go in swings or bouncers or lay on play mats. This is the only thing she liked and still likes! In fact my mother-in-law is looking to buy one just for when we’re at her house

Get one. I don’t personally have one as my kids are all older, but I work at children’s hospital. We have several of these that were donated to us. They have saved our (and our tiny patient’s parents) sanity time and time again.
If it can calm and comfort a very ill child, I have confidence that it would be money well spent for home. (I wish they were around when my kids were little!!!!!)
I wouldn’t waste money on one of these. I bought one at full price years ago and neither of my first two kids liked it. They both loved a regular swing. You also can’t use it as long as a regular swing, only for the first few months. I’m pregnant with my third currently, and hoping this baby likes this so I can get some use out of it finally! We are foster parents and I did have one drug exposed newborn who liked this thing, but otherwise it’s been useless. It’s really hit or miss, some moms say their baby loved this thing, but a lot say they hated it. I frequently see it listed in baby groups as one of the items that was the biggest waste of money. If you have a friend who has one, try it out to see if your baby likes it before buying.
Same here. I brought one for my sister. My nephew hated it. It was a waste of money. She has had 2 more kids since then and none of them liked it.

Do u guys have any recommendations for a newborns bassinet for every night sleeping?
We borrowed a Halo Bassinest for our first and absolutely loved it! We don’t have the same opportunity to borrow this time around, so we’re going to try a pack n play that has a bassinet feature.
I second the Halo. Wish I would have had it for all of my kiddos.

My son hated this BUT my twins who were born 5 weeks early absolutely love it. I would highly recommend for parents of preemies or late preterm babies but it might not be great for full term babies.
I’m a NICU nurse and these things are life savers. Our babies absolutely love them, especially the the full term babies that have been with us for a long while.

My 3rd child loved it! We used it sooooo much we were sad when she got too heavy to be on it. I like the design and it’s not bulky like the other swings. Wished I had these with my first 2 kids.
My son loved this and my daughter didn’t care for it too much. We still got our use out of it . I still liked it for them and think it did the job. It’s also great for small spaces. I mean the normal swing is so bulky. All babies are different just like us. I can say this is a great price! We got ours over 200.00 dollars. I would still recommend it. Hope that helps for anyone who is on the fence . Also you can do your own research and read more reviews.

We have this for our now 3rd child & she loves it. I was a bit hesitant since my 2nd child HATED her Graco swing…I packed it up & returned it quick bc it was money wasted. As with every baby, you won’t know what they like until you give it a try & just like every pregnancy, every baby is different 💜

Mom of 5 here… my 5th is a month old today. Since I had my others a new product came out- the SNOO. Look into it because it would be hard for me to describe it on here. It is NOT cheap, but it has already proven itself worth the money. I was hesitant to spend the money on it, because this is for sure our last baby (a surprise), but I’m so glad I did. They have a 30 day return period once you get it, so to me it wasn’t as risky. Anyway, it’s not super budget friendly, but it replaces a cradle/co-sleeper/dockatot/swing, so maybe once you factor in those items, it makes a little more financial sense. I also think they have a rental program, but I’m not sure what that is like because I bought mine. Anyway, I highly recommend looking into the SNOO. I wish I would have had this 4 babies ago!
Fisher Price Rock and Play Sleeper…both kiddos loved it. It was easily passed down from one to the next. My friend did the same and her newborn is also enjoying it right now.
Weren’t those the ones that were just recalled and discontinued because of all the infant deaths caused by them? Sorry, not the best recommendation. I’m going with a playard that has the bassinet, instead of a cradle that you only get a few months use out of.
I work in a NICU where we use these for fussy babies and I’ve never had a baby who didn’t like it! I’m surprised how many people are saying they didn’t like it. I think these are awesome. There are plenty of different settings on it to play around and find something your baby likes
My baby loved it, but he also was a 5lbs at birth, in hospital for a week, and born under emergency conditions. So, another thumbs up from a special care infant mom.

Has anyone received their mamaRoo that ordered when it was on sale? I called Amazon and they pretty much told me it’s out of stock and they don’t know if or when it will be in stock so I was just wondering. Thank you
I was just checking same thing still haven’t got the one I purchased. Over a month delay
I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with a customer service representative who told me there was a pricing error and that the item was out of stock with no estimate on when or if it would be available for shipping. After going back and forth about my needing to wait, cancel or pay difference in price, I was given a credit, next day shipping and a different Mamaroo https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B073FTRQCS/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
that was in stock and shipped by Amazon. I did not get any emails or calls regarding the delay in shipping and insisted that they honor the price on my order confirmation for similar item under same item number. I now should have my swing by this Thursday for $132.43 which is amount original swing purchased 5 May would have costed.
I just chatted with them online and they said there was nothing they could do. I would like to get the same price you did. Any tips? Thanks
Actually call and ask for a supervisor/mgr, demand the item as purchased (shipped by Amazon and sold by Amazon). There’s nothing like hearing the hurt and frustration in ones voice AND all calls are recorded for trg purposes. Who wants to be recorded not going the extra mile? I was told several times that my CV was not charged and that they would research their warehouses to see when/if I could get the item. I asked them to do that and to copy me on the email. She (Elise, the mgr) did. I mentioned their customer protection guarantee, my poor customer experience and that I wasn’t a valuable customer due to my lack of prime status. Elise was apologetic and offered several solutions like me cancelling the original order and rebuying from a third party. I stood my ground and kept reciting the unfairness especially since Amazon prides itself on excellent customer service and it paid off. I made it clear that I need the item, had been patiently expecting it, was offended by the lack of communication regarding the delay, added that it was a shady business practice and that I was willing to pay the $132 and change on cc hold if they made good on the deal. If they did it for me, they can do it for you.
