I ordered a weed eater at 11:30 am EST yesterday for my mother in law and it arrived at her house this morning at 9:01 AM EST!!! Happy Prime member here!!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! That’s awesome! Thanks for letting us know how quickly your order arrived!

  2. Beth Richardson

    You’re welcome!!

  3. Kelly

I ordered some items today – it says they will be delivered tonight.
    Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

    • Ann

    • Marissa

Please reconstruct your comment. I wanna know more about that $5 and $30 stuff. Thanks.

      • Ann

        😂

      • Raz

on Amazon there is no quality control, an item cost seller 5$ and buyer buy it in 30$, if item weight is 1.1lb it cost seller minimum 7$ shipment to ship item + seller keep profit 25 to 30% +anazon charge 15% from seller + amazon charge 120$ annualy for prime, think twice before you buy it.

    • eas

      Please elaborate…

I love that you can choose the delivery day. Like a day when you’re going to be home so the package doesn’t sit outside all day and get stolen. Or a day when your husband’s at work, so he doesn’t see that you’re shopping again, lol!!!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! That is a great option to have!

  6. sallymae

I have it for a month and at least half my orders get delayed or “lost”

    • Lola

I’ve heard amazon marks some packages as “delivered” a day before they actually are? Maybe drivers have a way around the rush, just mark it done and do it later? I quit prime about a year ago, I noticed I spend less, no unnecessary stuff I don’t need. I like the prime videos but it’s nice to take a break from tv (well, there are other apps lol) as well 🙂

  7. Megan

I live in a suburb of St Paul MN and I am not eligible. 🙁

  8. Kimberly

So far one item came on time and another item came a day late. I don’t have high expectations for this when half of my packages were already delayed on a regular basis.

  9. kylie

Is anyone else charged individually for each service, Amazon Prime, movies, music? They say membership includes everything! False. I charged for my Amazon Prime membership PLUS each Amazon feature also. I called and complained and got the runaround. Their items are overpriced, their delivery people are the worst, and they deliver whenever they feel like it. Most of the boxes are damaged or stolen, money thrown down the drain. I never get any answers, Amazon seems to be untouchable.

    • Kimberly

Some music and movies are free. Some are not. Their unlimited stuff has a fee.

      • shop4mybabies

please explain this to my husband. he is ordering movies WE OWN on dvd/blu ray because he doesn’t understand not all prime movies are free…regardless of how many times myself and my teenage daughters have screamed it at him lol and last time accused us of being wrong, despite paying 3.99 each for the matrix movies, all of which we own!!!! phew it’s a miracle i let him live

        • Leavesbegintofall

          😂😂😂😂

        • gwenny182

Put a password on purchases and don’t tell him what it is 😂

    • kylie

Each service charges my credit card every month. It’s not something I’m purchasing. I do not use theses services at all.

        • kylie

Thank you very much. I have contacted Amazon before and received no satisfaction, not even answers. I will make 1 more attempt, then I’m done with them.

      • Liz

If you go in to the subscription part of your account you can cancel everything. With all the extras cancelled, you still get access to the basic books, music, movies, etc.

    • Michelle Fowler

I had the same issue…and ended up having to closing my checking account and get another one. They kept billing for services that I had cancelled and I could not get any results with customer service in resolving the issue.
As far as the delivery etc…I never had any issues except with Amazon Fresh. They were to delivery between 6pm-8pm on a Monday evening. Needless to say, someone in my neighborhood gladly accepted my $389.93 worth of groceries and when contacted they could not tell me where/exact address they were delivered. And then customer service offered me $10 in credit for “My Inconvenience”!! Seriously, I needed the items for a luncheon for my employees the next day and to find out at 10pm the night before I am in a pickle…ummm, not acceptable!
So, I am not happy with Amazons Billing…
      Good luck to all!!

Not everything is free with Amazon Prime. When it comes to Movies and TV, you are limited to what comes with Amazon Free and it is labeled what comes with your membership. Some movies and channels (like HBO) are additional.

  11. Liz

Heads up, if anyone has an EBT card or Medicaid card you can get the monthly membership price reduced. It’s like $6/month. Get that free trial then get it reduced!

    • New Mama

      How???

    • Lisa B.

Yes…my Mom is a member of our household and I use her Medicaid card to get the $6 a month membership to Amazon Prime. I had to take a picture of the Medicaid card and send it for verification when I signed up through the special link.

    • Judy

It’s just rolling out and only in NY right now. Keep watching for it to be available everywhere. Amazon CSA, I work from home.

    • Lisa

Does anyone know how this works if I already pay for Prime? My son has Medicaid, if I start prime again using link and his name would I have to cancel all subscribe and save, etc in my account and restart with his? I doubt there’d be an easy way to just transfer? That way price would be great tho!

  12. Liz

Just Google Amazon EBT discount. Click the amazon.com link that’s not an ad and it takes you right to the get started page.

  13. Jan

Just ordered items last week that were “one day delivery” guaranteed. Three days later they arrived. I don’t have much luck with the Prime two day delivery, so I expect even less with the one day promises.

    • Lori

Same here. 2 day delivery is almost always 3-5 days.

  14. Tammy

I have prime and love it! Amazon always exceeds my expectations on price and delivery times! I always compare prices on other sites before I purchase just to be sure I’m getting the best deal.

  15. Bunny

We are not Prime members but get free one day shipping because we live close to a warehouse. If you’re tired of paying for Prime, this is an option too! We just don’t get all the other perks of being a Prime member.

  16. Jess

    Fail!
Supposed to one day ship and now scheduled for a Saturday delivery. I’ve been disappointed with Amazon’s stayed and actual delivery dates.

  17. dropofrain

I would like to know if anyone used Prime membership to deliver groceries from Whole Foods. I am thinking about setting this for my mom who lives in another state and has some medical issues. So, can I place an order to be delivered to her apartment? How does it work? Does she need to tip the delivery person? I want to explore about this more.

    • Catherine

      Hello,
I deliver for Amazon Flex, and frequently deliver groceries from Whole Foods. As long, as your mom lives in a delivery area, this would be a great option for her. The groceries are delivered to her front door. She does not need to tip the delivery person upon receipt of groceries. There is an option online at checkout to add a tip. This is a great service from my experience.
