Hello. I was wondering if anyone has used this to buy a different movie ticket or is it good only for secret life of pets 2? Thanks 🙂
I did Nutcracker version of this deal and the promo code only worked with that movie.
It’s only good for the Secret Life of Pets 2. When you go through the steps to purchase the ticket, you are directed to a different interface than where you would regularly purchase tickets from Fandango.
Maybe a stupid question….Fandango will allow you to buy a ticket for any day, correct? I’m thinking Cinemark $5 Tuesday’s. I’m assuming the coupon would come off of that. Do you think so?
Yes. Any day. I bought tickets to the Secret Life of Pets 2 for myself and my husband for the first Tuesday after it opens. Since Fandango waives the service fee with theater rewards memberships, I paid something like $0.96 in tax total for both tickets.
For some reason Fandango is charging a convenience fee in my area. This is not a deal at all. Bought 4 and the convenience fee makes it the same price of the ticket.
Oh bummer! Thanks so much for the heads up! I have added a note to the post!
Check if your preferred theater has a rewards program linked with Fandango. Several chains with rewards programs waive the convenience fee with Fandango.
Thanks so much for the helpful tip, Kate! Good to know!
