I had that problem last Christmas with a new purse from the Coach outlet. It only did it at Kroger and I couldn’t find any kind of magnetic theft deterrent. I finally talked to the manager and they ran it over their scanner to demagnetize it. Something worked because it stopped.

I’m so bummed! I’m not sure what time the sale ended, but it’s 10:34pm MST where I’m from and when I came back to check out, the $99 price was no longer available. It shows $129 for that style in various colors. Has anyone else had that problem?
