My new go-to light and airy top.
In a recent late-night online shopping adventure on Walmart’s website, I couldn’t tear myself away from their trending apparel section. Many of you guys know how much I love clothes shopping on their site (and just shopping for clothes online in general)! 😆 I just know I’m going to find something super cute – and even at full price, I’m still getting a good deal.
Well, I came across this gorgeous boho-inspired peasant top by Textile and just had to have it! It’s so reminiscent of this high-end designer top I saw on Nordstrom for almost $600 🤯, and reminds me of the much more expensive Anthropologie style I love.
Let’s start with the neckline. I love that it’s kind of part v-neck, part square-neck, and it looks really polished with the hems. Plus, the embroidery bib and cute little buttons give it just enough peasant flair without going overboard. Designers like Tory Burch have even used similar details in their almost $300 blouse.
And the cherry on top? The sleeves! 😍I know it’s such a weird thing to be obsessed with the styling of the arms, but I love that they’re slightly oversized and then cinched at the cuff to create the puff effect. It reminds me of the sleeves on this wildly expensive Nili Lotan top priced at $595!
This top can also be styled in multiple ways! Dress it up with stylish moto jeans and cute heeled boots (yes, my boots pictured are from Walmart, too!), or keep it casual with a pair of leggings and a jean jacket. It’s also available in black which looks especially chic when paired with white denim.
And I can’t forget the price! This Textile top is available right now on Walmart.com for $36! This may be a touch more than you’re used to paying at Walmart, but let me assure you, you’ll have everyone you know shocked when you tell them where you got it from.
The new Textile brand has really been exceeding all my expectations when it comes to quality (I rave about their motto jacket here)! Plus, when you put it up against the more expensive tops, this one’s a no-brainer! I mean, $559 less? Yes, please!
My only caveat? This shirt is definitely prone to wrinkles. But with just a few strokes with my handheld steamer, the wrinkles fall right out. If you don’t own one of these handy tools already, you can find some great portable garment steamers on Amazon. They’re awesome for travel, too!
