We took one of these lights camping last summer. It works great for illuminating the tent when setting up sleeping bags. It has a ring at the top and I used that to hang it from the tent ceiling. The fact that it dims is very helpful. It was nice not to need to pack batteries because we could charge it with the usb port in our car, but it really lasts a long time on a single charge.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing how well it worked for you when camping! Good to know!

We use this as a nightlight and love it! I love the fact that you can put it anywhere in the room, and a charge lasts almost a week. Having a dimmable light is also super helpful in making the room darker as bedtime approaches. We turn the light up all the way for storytime, and then dim it all the way down for bedtime. It also has 2 different temperatures of light color – we leave it on the warmer color for bedtime because it seems cozier 🙂

How neat! Thanks a TON for the helpful comment! We like a dim light near bedtime too!
