This would be great if you need to leave your pet during the day, but want to still stay connected and interact with your furbaby. It even has night vision!
You can use the Petcube App to check in on them with the 1080p video camera, wide angle view. Even better, it can hold up to two pounds of dry, crunchy dog and cat treats that you can surprise your pet with! This is great for providing positive reinforcement throughout the day.
Plus, the Petcube features two-way audio so you can talk to your pets and hear them bark/meow back. How fun!
I bought this petcube camera about a year ago when Amazon had a killer deal similar to this one. While the camera and accompanying app are great and have useful features like night vision and the ability to zoom in, I often have low connectivity issues despite strong wifi and cellular connections. The 2 way audio has also had issues from time to time.
Also, the treat dispensing mechanism rarely works even with the included and recommended treats. The process makes a pretty loud clicking noise that scares my doggo when he thinks he’s home alone and that goes off, so I don’t evenuse that aspect of the product.
All in all, the camera is well worth it for the $99 I paid during the Amazon promo last year and I’d say also for this current deal of $129. Personally would not pay full price for a relatively faulty product.
