The Sun is Also a Star Movie Tickets Only $5 at AMC Theatres
Through May 30th, head over to AMC Theatres where they are offering $5 movie tickets to see “The Sun is Also a Star”. Even better, you can score up to 30 adult tickets per order. No promo code is needed as the price will ring up automatically when you add tickets to your cart.
College-bound romantic Daniel Bae and Jamaica-born pragmatist Natasha Kingsley meet—and fall for each other—over one magical day amidst the fervor and flurry of New York City. With just hours left on the clock in what looks to be her last day in the U.S., Natasha is fighting against her family’s deportation as fiercely as she’s fighting her budding feelings for Daniel, who is working just as hard to convince her they are destined to be together. A modern-day story about finding love against all odds, “The Sun Is Also a Star” explores whether our lives are determined by fate or the random events of the universe.
It’s a lovely YA book. Thanks for the post!
Oh awesome! You’re very welcome! Thanks for the review!
I saw this movie and it’s terrific! What a great price. I may go see it again.
On Tuesday mornings they offer a discount for the movies if you are a stubs member or higher (the stubs insider is the free one. Decent benefits, no cost). At my AMC the cost is $5 for the regular (digital?) showing. Check your own AMC to find out the price (they had a disclaimer of the price being different at some locations so I didn’t want to say it was for everyone). We go to the last showing before noon and just pay $5 each. It’s the food and drinks (I can’t resist) that do us in. But they also have a teen special for a popcorn and soda for $5. Our theater says it’s only valid on Tuesdays, but yours might allow everyday. Doesn’t hurt to ask!
If you are a Premier Stubbs, the $5 discounted ticket applies all day on Tuesdays. This ticket was $5 no matter the date and time through 5/30.
I went with a number of librarians who had read the book as well. It was a lovely movie.
