Is there anything we need to do to get the app to recognize we’re in the store? Turn on WiFi? I was in store and on the app but it didn’t say free shipping but maybe I didn’t go far enough in the checkout process.
If you connect to kohls wifi in store, then go to add a promo code, the free shipping should be there. That being said, it never works on my phone so I have to use my husband’s phone.
You need to connect to Kohls in store wifi and enable location for Kohls app. Otherwise, use the kiosk to get free shipping.
For me, it doesn’t matter if I connect to their wifi, but I have to turn on my phone’s location for it to work. The app needs to use your GPS location. Also, I’m able to place my order from my car in the parking lot and get the free shipping. That’s close enough for the app to recognize you’re at the store.

I’ve never had to connect to store WiFi but I do have location set to track while using the app. On my iPhone I went to settings, scrolled down until the apps were listed, clicked on Kohls, then under location made the change to track location while using the app. I sit in my car and shop. I do notice that if I already have the stuff in the cart before I arrive at the store I might not get the offer so I wait to shop until I get to the store. The free shipping is at the checkout process. You will see the code that reads something like mobilemvcfree shipping.
It’s tricky, I’ve used it in the car in the past but that doesn’t seem to work anymore. You don’t need their WiFi, just location turned on. Also walk around the store, if the front it’ll work and as I go towards the back, it stops working.
