With this model, Ring Pro, you have to have existing doorbell wiring. The Ring 1 & 2 work off of batteries so no need to have existing wiring.

We just got a Ring2 at Costco for $159, and it came with a year of Ring Protect Plus plan and also has the two way talk feature. We also got two of the floodlight cameras that did not come with that option so we can see when it triggers but it does not save the video. Cost of that is nominal – I think? $3 per device, per month. So far, we are happy with them. The $159 was a discounted price and I believe it has gone back up.
