Did you get new parts or new faucet?
We had a similar situation with Delta (a piece broke on the inside that attaches the handle to the faucet). The finish was also coming off and they noticed that in my picture and sent a new handle as well! It is worth it to call them!
We built a home last year and I ordered this brand from amazon for our kitchen faucet. lOVE IT! It is exactly what I wanted/needed and within the budget. Every other brand in the style I wanted was at least $100 more. My only regret is not ordering faucets for our bathrooms. Lesson learned for next time.

We bought our house from someone and Moen installed every where.
My kitchen faucet has been giving my trouble last couple of weeks. I called them up and they say the warrenty is not attached to the house but to the owner. So, they can not help is with any of Moen products in our house.
Is that normal? Has anyone else been in this situation?
That is stated right in the warranty.
I don’t know how “normal” it is, but it is not unheard of for a warranty to not stay with the home when it is sold. I know this is the case with some roof warranties, for example.
