I’m confused! Can you use a coupon on the free items? Sorry for the stupid question!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Walgreens does not let you use coupons on free items. Hope this helps, Ben!

  2. Ashley

Seems that not everyone will have this coupon. I don’t have one.

    Deals not working 🙁
    Please try again
We weren’t able to add the item to your cart.

  4. Bella

I tried this deal online but it won’t let me add to my cart. If i go to my store, they almost never allow this deal scenario, like I’m stealing from them!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Looks like it is out of stock now, Bella.

  5. Erika

Oos waste of time always going to Walgreens.com ty anyways!

Walgreens has become impossible to shop with. Their app or .com consistantly has issues and if you can get either to place an order that includes appropriate coupons/points, they cancel it or if you are lucky enough to recieve it the items are damaged. Most of the stores are not coupon friendly and a lot are not even shopper friendly anymore often treating customers looking to shop sales and get good buys as thiefs, and all the stores are at a managers discretion so there is zero consistancy. It is too bad they are alienating a wide base of consumers.

Walmart is the same way. If I use coupons they act like I am stealing from them. They have denied coupons that were from the newspaper even. They only allow one like coupon per shopping trip even if the coupon says you can use 2 or 4 like coupons per transaction etc. I pretty much quit shopping there. I don’t shop at Walgreens either for the same reasons. If the coupon is for 75 cents off and the product costs $1 they won’t let you use it either. One clerk told me that couponers are the reasons groceries are so high and it isn’t fair that couponers get better deals than other people. I didn’t know we were in a club that others couldn’t join. LOL

  7. Natalie

I thought they said this deal was until July 6?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are right, Natalie! This can still be done in-store.

  8. Debbie

walgreens needs to update their website for online ordering, very frustrating, cart is always wrong, or items don’t add.. let’s all joi; in and send the company an e mail to fix this.. 😀😀😀 i love ordering online and free ship to store but lately it’s taking too long to checkout….
keep the deals coming tho.. lol

Worked in store for me this morning. My store was 20 cents higher on the price but still a great deal. The entire $12 came off.

  10. Mella

Anyone else have problems with digital store coupons not working? I always have to make them scan the booklet

  11. yy99875

It didn’t work for me. $8 didn’t come off.

  12. Nancy

It worked for me. Not for my friend because she used her points. If you have any rewards do not use it otherwise it won’t take both coupons.

  13. Michelle

Did not work for me, and my store’s price was $4.50 each. Coupons did not apply. Bummed to return as I need toothpaste, but $18 is too much.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Sorry to hear that, Michelle.

  14. Linsey

I’m done with Walgreens. I tried going in store to purchase the items and NONE of the coupons came off (they were definitely clipped and on my card). The manager told me they can’t take them off manually, and I’d need to call corporate. I called, and they said that certain coupons were not working, so I can just purchase the items and they would then give me points worth the coupon amounts. First, the customers should not have to jump through hoops just to get the deal that is being offered, and second, when they offer a coupon, it should be available when used, not make a customer pay in full and get a gift card for the refund. I will never go back.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! That sure does sound frustrating. Thanks for the feedback, Linsey!

I was just at Walgreens and was going to buy 6 crest toothpaste. Took it to the counter but i was told that i can only buy 4 per the manager. I guess differet stores have different rules.

  16. Steph

Worked for me in store – $12 deducted – thanks so much!!

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Glad you could snag the deal Steph!

  17. Rae

How do you get the $4 & $8 coupon to apply online. They both say they work online plus the buy 2, get 1 coupon shows online, but it does not look like it is applying to my total. The type of toothpaste I use is only available online.

  18. Edwin

I’m confused.. can clip 2 coupons and use both in the same transaction? Or does it have to be 2 separate..

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Sorry for any confusion. It appears this deal has ended.
