here’s how i feel about Nest — after we installed one (we also needed 2 for 2 different zones) our equal payment plan for our electric bill dropped by $60 per month. so you can wait for a deal in the future, but if you wait 4 months, will you really save more by waiting than you would by just paying more now and installing it and immediately starting the savings on your power bill?
in other words, i don’t know if it will be cheaper later, but it will pay for itself anyway in just a couple months’ time.
