Thanks! I went to Staples today and picked up the terraconda pencils, crayola colored pencils, and expo dry erase markers since they were cheaper there than at Walmart. All the other supplies were the same price as Walmart so I placed a grocery order pickup for those items and used the promo code mentioned on Hip2Save yesterday (LA9ARAAC) to save $10 off $50 order. We don’t have a staples here but we do have an Office Depot… I think I saw somewhere that they will price match, can anyone confirm?

The staples brand mechanical pencils were hated by my kids and husband. I’ve been asked to never buy them again.

I love these deals! There is an organization near me called The Wish Project. They collect school supplies for kids in need and distribute them with backpacks. I take my daughter with me to shop and deliver the supplies. It is fun for both of us.
Thank you Mrs. Nancy, I just wanted to say I think that’s great that you include your little girl. Some children don’t have a clue that there are other children needing help just to get something so simple as crayons. My heart was warmed by this. I, too LOVE to help the children.

I don’t think you will see any hot free paper deals anymore. It has to with the cost of pulp etc. all stores are effected.

2 questions I hope this community can help me with:
1) Is it easy to price match at Staples? I bought 6 markers and pencils at 97 cents a few weeks ago. Not huge price dollar difference, but I will probably go get more with this sale…is it worth the time standing at the register for 110% price match with kids in tow to make a price match happen?
2) Since staples stopped their rebates, where is the cheapest copy paper-is it their 10 reams for $37 right now?–With school lists asking for printer paper, that’s about how much I need. I miss 1 cent or free paper!
I have absolutely been that person in line with 3 kids in tow doing a price match. Getting the 110% pm guarantee is only on the difference in price, not on the total price. So make sure it’s worth the trouble b/c that will take longer and sometimes they have to call a manager. I would say to make sure you have time if you do it.
At Sam’s club the Members Mark brand white copy paper is $29.98 for a 10 ream box. This is a constant buy in our home. This is the best deal I have seen for that many reams. ¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯
Does anyone know what price point I could expect to find a good deal on a TI-84 Plus CE chargeable calculator? It’s around $170 on Amazon right now, and I am hoping to do better than that. (Hopefully much better…yikes!)

My staples had a sign at the door saying text SCHOOL to 555-444 to get $5 off $25 school supply purchase today. This was yesterday, July 7. It worked and we got an unexpected $5 savings on our school supplies. Not sure if it’s regional or working today but worth asking if you’re shopping school supplies at staples today.
