   I’m not being negative about the site, I’m so grateful for hip2save, but does anyone else feel like Amazon is a big FAIL this year? This is the first year that I didn’t buy a single thing! Ugh!

  I felt the same at first but then after thinking about it; my kids are getting older (11 and 13), they aren’t interested in toys which is what I have purchased in the previous years. My home is stocked, I can’t really think of anything I actually need or want to that matter. I have TV’s in every room, everyone has a tablet (my husband has 2), I have more pots and pans than one needs, I have the stain cordless vac and a shark vac, I have fire sticks for every tv we have.. the list could go on. I don’t know that it’s so much of the deals weren’t good as it is that I didn’t actually need any of what they were offering.

  Agree! I wasn’t impressed at all. I had hopes of a good deal on a 50″-60″ smart TV since mine conveniently called it quits this morning. No luck! I’m regretting walking past all those clearance deals I saw on them a few weeks ago.

  I stopped shopping amazon as much as possible. Only an essential item here and there, and only if everywhere else is significantly more or out of stock. Amazon got too big and I don’t like the idea of feeding this monster. Also, this prime day is just a way to get you flipping through their pages, a marketing technique.

   I got a few things but I have not at all been impressed with a lot of the deals. Soap and diapers are some things I could get in the past for a nice price.

   There is a 60% off subscribe and save for various dog foods. I just got a new puppy and his food is normally $55 a bag. I was able to get it for $18.56!

  There is also a pet profile you can fill out and get 10.00 off of dog food. Look in your account info.

   The water shoes are so cute. I had them in my cart ready to check out, scrolled down to make sure I got the right sizes of shoes and the description was “Centipede DEMON kids water shoe”.

   Wow! After reading that I did not purchase.
