I downloaded the Root car insurance app through a friend and received $25. It took 18 days for the app to run a test drive where it runs in the background and reviews your driving. This morning, I was alerted that my quote was ready. I reviewed it and decided I didn’t want to switch. I then deleted the app. In a few hours I received the email with my 25 dollar reward. I had the option of Visa, bank deposit or giftcard with quite a few options. I chose walmart and no strings attached. Just the time involved with having the app on your phone so it can follow your driving for a while to give you an insurance quote.
