Egg Salad Sold at Target & Fresh Market Recalled Due to Possible Listeria

On July 19th, Elevation foods issued recalls on select foods made in their Knoxville, Tennessee facility for possible contamination of Listeria. Recalled foods were sold at Target and Fresh Market.

At Target, these include Archer Farms-branded egg salad; and Freskët brand egg salad, tuna salad, and Thai lobster salad. It also includes Archer Farms-branded deviled egg sandwiches made on June 18th.

There have been no reported illnesses to date and no other foods at Target have been affected.

Look for these affected containers:

• Archer Farms-brand Egg Salad packaged in a 12-ounce clear, square plastic container, Lot Number W1906042A, Use By 12AUG2019 (printed on the side of each container) UPC 085239018682, distributed nationwide
• Freskët-brand Egg Salad packaged in a 32-ounce clear, square plastic container, Lot Number W1906042, Use By 12AUG2019A (printed on the side of each container
• Freskët-brand Tuna Salad packaged in a 5-pound white, round plastic container, Lot Number W1906054, Use By 02AUG2019A (printed on the side of each container
• Freskët-brand Thai Lobster Salad packaged in a 5-pound white, round plastic container, Lot Number W1906041, Use By 02AUG2019A (printed on the side of each container)
• Archer Farms Deviled Egg Sandwich Half Sandwich with Bacon, UPC 220505000002, distributed nationwide
• Archer Farms Deviled Egg Sandwich on Multigrain, UPC 498780203566, distributed nationwide

The Thai Lobster Salad sold in Fresh Market is also included in the recall. It is sold by the pound in the self-serve seafood salad bar and pre-packed in the seafood display as House of Thaller Thai Lobster salad. There have been no reported illnesses to date and no other foods at Fresh Market have been affected.

If you have purchased the Thai Lobster Salad, discard it and bring your receipt to any Fresh Market for a full refund.
